Winding down at the end of your day
As part of bringing relax & breathe into your day, you can use it to relax in the evening or to unwind before bed. It can be a great way to let go of your day after work, after your children are asleep or to relax with your baby as part of bedtime.
You can focus on your breathing when you get in from work, when you are able to sit and relax or before you go to bed.
Relax & Breathe For The End Of Your Day
As you practice it, you can make it your own – fitting it into your evening when you can and for as long as you need it.
Focusing on your breathing can also be useful to manage any evening stresses with unsettled babies, over-tired children and bedtime squabbles.
The key to using Relax & Breathe is to keep it simple:
slow your breathing
relax your muscles – your jaw, your shoulders, your hands, your pelvic floor and your legs and feet
allow yourself to de-stress and slow down
Remember…
Make it your own – fit it into your evening where it works best for you. And you can do it more than once, using it as you need it to ease stress, tension or anxiety or to help you relax when you can slow down.
Relax & Breathe is for everyone but if you are pregnant you will benefit from using it every day so it becomes familiar and easier to use in labour.
The important thing is to do it, maybe even set a reminder on your phone.
It’s investing just a few minutes in you.
