We don’t give ourselves enough credit for managing the tough days, the tired days, the stressy days, the feeling like we are getting it all wrong days which is why it helps to make a note of the challenges and how we managed them.
And I know time is precious so let’s keep it brief (but really effective)…
what was challenging for you this week and why? (for me it has been: menopausal mood and tiredness because it feels out of my control; busy schedule because there aren’t enough hours in the day; mindset because I am growing my business in a different way and that new territory feels unsettling.)
how have you managed these challenges? (for me I have: given myself early nights and chocolate; focused on work, ignored the state of my house and I have not given myself a hard time for not being on top of everything; and I am going with my instincts and my ambition for a stronger business and embracing the unsettledness of change.)
and because this is always important - what small things have you done for you this week? (for me: strong coffee, my bed, new dress)
And don’t forget to use your breathing - for calm, focus and to keep you grounded if you are tired, stressed and you just need to keep going.
I’d love your thoughts, comments and questions and if you can also arrange a conversation with me to focus on you, the person behind the parent.
