By the end of the week, you could be crawling into the weekend feeling like you’ve only survived your week juggling family, work and the motherload. Even on a good week, it’s easy to feel like you're getting something wrong - so many mums say to me that they feel like they are a busy juggling kids, work, home, partner and they feel like they aren’t doing any of it well.
So, give yourself a minute or two to make a few notes…
What words sum up your week? (for me it has been: planning, birth, baby, hospital, anxiety, writing, fear of failure)
What went well and why? (attended a birth because births are fabulous, a good outcome at hospital because something could have gone hideously wrong for a family member, family time because an emergency brings family together)
What small things have you done for you this week? (flowers, good coffee, time to read)
Bringing your breathing into your week
And remember to focus on your breathing throughout your week - you can use it to manage any stress, discomfort or anxiety or you can simply bring it into your day.
If you head to Breathing Space you can read and use a range of relax & breathe resources.
So, how was your week?
